For anxiety, trauma, stress and difficult life transitions.

You may be functioning well on the outside while feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted or stuck on the inside.
Perhaps something from your past continues to affect your relationships or the way you feel about yourself. You may be going through a difficult transition, experiencing persistent stress, anxiety or low mood, or noticing patterns that you understand intellectually but still struggle to change.
Individual therapy gives you a confidential space to understand these experiences and work towards meaningful, sustainable change.

You don’t need to know exactly what is wrong before coming to therapy. Understanding what is happening is part of the therapeutic process.
Every person comes to therapy with a different history, personality and set of needs. For this reason, I use an integrative rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Our work may include elements from trauma-informed therapy, attachment and Emotionally Focused approaches, cognitive behavioural interventions, schema therapy, parts and inner-child work, somatic and sensory approaches, and other psychological interventions appropriate to your needs.
The purpose is not simply to talk about the problem. Together, we work to understand the patterns behind it, develop emotional regulation and new responses, and translate insight into changes in everyday life.
Traumatic experiences do not always come from one dramatic event. Repeated experiences of insecurity, loss, rejection, conflict or emotional disconnection can also influence how we respond to stress, relationships and ourselves later in life.
Trauma-informed work can help you understand these responses without defining yourself by your past.
Depending on your needs and therapeutic goals, our work may address emotional regulation, triggers, attachment patterns, body-based responses, difficult memories and the development of greater internal safety and resilience.
Our first session is an opportunity to understand what brings you to therapy, what is currently affecting you and what you would like to change.
We will discuss your situation and history as relevant, identify your priorities and begin developing an appropriate direction for our work together.
You do not need to prepare anything or know which therapeutic method you need.
